Continental Divide Trail
Lincoln became the first Continental Divide Trail (CDT) Gateway Community in Montana in 2017. Recognized for our hospitality to trail users and our dedication to sustaining the CDT, the Lincoln community provides ample opportunities for hikers and visitors alike to explore the wilderness, fish, camp, experience Lincoln’s history, and more.
Lincoln offers three CDT access points: one at Stemple Pass, one at Flescher Pass, and on at Rogers Pass. Each access point is within 20 miles of Lincoln. Another access point can be found at the Alice Creek Trailhead.
The Continental Divide Trail (CDT) runs from Mexico to Canada, traversing New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming, Idaho, and Montana.
